"The National Association for Parents of Children with Visual Impairments (NAPVI) was founded in 1979 by volunteers, principally parents of children who are visually impaired. We believe that if parents obtain the support and information they need they will become the best advocates for their children.

When parents join together with common concerns, they have a powerful voice that can make significant changes and improvements for the services and education of ALL children with visual impairments."
